Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about upgrading your bathroom with Delta Shower Doors.
How do I ensure I am measuring my shower opening correctly?
Measure the width of your shower opening at three points: the bottom, middle, and top. Use the largest measurement for sliding doors and the smallest for pivot doors. Always ensure your walls are level and plumb before finalizing your order.
What type of glass safety standards do your products meet?
All Delta Shower Doors utilize tempered safety glass that meets or exceeds ANSI Z97.1 and 16 CFR 1201 standards. This ensures the glass is durable and breaks into small, blunt fragments if impacted.
What is the standard shipping timeframe for large glass panels?
Due to the fragile nature and weight of our products, orders typically ship via specialized freight carriers within 3-5 business days. Delivery usually occurs within 7-14 business days depending on your location.
Can I install a Delta Shower Door on a fiberglass or acrylic shower base?
Yes, our doors are compatible with most standard shower bases. However, please ensure your base has a sufficient flat threshold width (typically 2-3 inches) to accommodate the bottom track or hinges.
What is your return policy for opened or installed doors?
We accept returns on uninstalled items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Please note that once a door has been installed or the glass has been handled outside the crate, it is no longer eligible for return due to safety liability.
Does the glass feature a protective coating to prevent water spots?
Most of our premium models come pre-treated with a hydrophobic protective coating that repels water, soap scum, and limescale, making the glass significantly easier to clean than untreated panels.
